Looking at the powerpoint think about how you could get more involved with community and service at NIST. Were there things at NIST that you did not realize were taking place that you would have liked to get involved with?
I realized now that because I'm superior at being lazy leading to me having a lack of drive to actually pursue engaging in any of these activities (I'm being serious, I have a lack of stamina and the drive to do things even though I do gymnastics and breakdance) but if I did end up with a drive to do something it would probably lead me to engage into the 'Habitat for Humanity' practices, although if I could get the NIST Dance Team, they could put on a sort 'Step Up' spoof of sorts to raise money. It's either that or Clean Up The Reef. No idea how this works
I have been involved in three community and service activities. I took part in the Habitat for Humanity Sleep Out in which we slept over in school in small cardboard boxes. Along with 5 other students from year 7 I helped organize a Bake and Shake Sale for Hope for Haiti. We raised over 5,000 baht. I also attended the Hope for Haiti fund raiser at the Orchid Sheraton Hotel. I wanted to be in those activities because I wanted to do something new instead of lazing around. All of it was fun and cool also because it helps a whole lot of people who can’t afford any of that stuff like us. A person like me loves to do things like this cause I find it fun and I would like to do more of it. I wanted to be part of clean up the reef day but I was too late because I did not agree at the right time. But next year my aim is to do clean up the reef day.
I think I really haven't been involved alot lately but I think in the next coming year I will be involved in alot more different things. I want to be involved in different programs like 'Clean up the reef' because the reef is a beautiful thing that needs to be preserved, and I love swimming. The 'Plant a tree' program is also a good one because I feel the need for more trees in this busy area of Bangkok. These different community and service programs will be nice to try and complete because of my growing wish to do so.
This year I have been involved in 2 community and action. I have helped the yearbook by making some of the pages. I have also helped with the parent ICT workshop by telling parents what Facebook is. Next year I would like to participate in the Clean up the reef day and also the yearbook club
This year, I have not been involved much in community and service projects. It is probably because I was swimming a lot. Next year, I will try to join Habitat for Humanities and try and help with the yearbook. I did help with the e-waste thing by throwing in a couple of old batteries. I will also help with the orphanage trips. I realize that I was really lazy this year.

I want to be involved with things like clean up the reef day or habitat for humanity because I would like others to experience happiness in their lives and get chances to do things they haven't gotten to do. I like doing these services as it makes me proud knowing that I have done something good for the earth and nature.

I am part of the "Dreams We Believe In” group that goes and does activities with kids who has HIV/AIDS on Saturday at the mercy center, I'm not able to go every Saturday but I do almost always go to the meetings we have every week held at school where we discuss and share ideas of what we can do with the kids on the coming Saturday. I took part on non-uniform days and made a donation. I also donated food for the BKK Refugee Center, and some clothing for Haiti. Before Christmas I brought a gift for the gift drive (mercy center), and I also sponsor Ms. Jennilea for the Charity Swimmathon. I had a lot of fun taking part in these activities and it made me happy when I realized my small donation may have meant a lot to those people in need. Next year, some new things I would like to try are taking part in the NIST yearbook club, because I have always enjoyed taking pictures. And maybe also get involved with the Amnesty International or Plant- A-Tree- Today, because I have always enjoyed helping the environment.
